Optimizing ultimate recovery from Jurassic hydrocarbon reservoirs:  1) Impact of depositional and structural heterogeneities on reservoir performance under different recovery scenarios 2) Establishing 3D facies heterogeneity and fracture patterns for input into high resolution reservoir models
In this project we aim to identify the microporosity types in the Jurassic and Cretaceous reservoirs of Saudi Arabia with due consideration to the origin and evolution of the host micrite and their potential impact on fluid flow
The objective of this project is to establish detailed lateral and vertical facies distribution data of sediments deposited during the Holocene/Pleistocene transgressions on the Al Wahj Red Sea carbonate platform
