GEO is a Geoscience conference and exhibition which is attended by NOC's , IOC's and major Oil companies working in the Middle East. The 2018 edition of the event was organized in Bahrain in March 2018. The event was attended by over 3700 oil industry professionlas, academicians, and students. Faculty and students from KAUST participated in the meeting as well.
Ahmad Ihsan Ramdani (CaResS Geology) and Abdulla Alali from KAUST participated in the SEG Middleeast Challenge Bowl and won the 1st place in the event at the GEO 2018.
