On 21st April 2021, Postdoctoral Researcher Alexander Petrovic was awarded with the "Georg-Hunaeus-Prize" by the German Society for Petroleum and Coal Science and Technology (DGMK), for his research on sub-seismic-scale sedimentological heterogeneities in carbonate reservoir analogs.
The DGMK sponsorship prize has been awarded to outstanding young scientists since 1989.
